The longer taper on this wood floor shank is specifically designed to tackle wood floor removal, whether they are glued down or nailed in place. Its extended length enables the blade to easily slide beneath challenging materials, making it particularly effective for removing wide wood floor planks.

Carbide tip: Carbide-tipped tools can maintain their cutting edge at high speeds and temperatures, which allows for more aggressive machining and reduces cycle time. They also have exceptional wear resistance, which means they can maintain their size for longer.
*Tip – When using shanks, start thinner and gradually move to a wider shank to determine ideal size for optimal performance.
