A shot blaster uses a high-speed stream of abrasive material (shot) to clean and prep a surface. The process helps improve surface adhesion, prolongs the life of coatings, and enhances the appearance and durability of the material being treated.
Shot blasters should always be paired with a properly rated dust collector. National’s A97 shot blaster pairs with our DL4000P Dust Collector. This 318 CFM dust collector features pass through power and auto pulsing.
When preparing to use any shot blaster, make sure you have enough wear and spare parts on hand. National has created kits for each of our shot blasters. These kits come with spare blast wheels, wrenches, liners, brushes, and more.
