The 552 Angle Shank is designed to fit the 550 walk-behind scraper and effectively remove ceramic, wood, and thick epoxy. The carbide tip enables the shank to power through tough materials and allows for maximum resharpening.
In addition to this shank, the 550 can be paired with various styles of blades to aid in the removal of VCT, VAT, wood, tile, epoxy, elastomeric coatings, scraping thin-set, and glued ceramic.
*A 551-shank holder is required to attach the 552-shank to the 550 walk-behind scraper.

Angle Shanks: designed ceramic removal and thin-set re-scraping.
Straight Shank: designed for removal of hard goods, thick epoxy, and elastomeric.
Wood Shanks: designed for removal of hardwood floors.
Carbide tip: Carbide-tipped tools can maintain their cutting edge at high speeds and temperatures, which allows for more aggressive machining and reduces cycle time. They also have exceptional wear resistance, which means they can maintain their size for longer.
*Tip – When using shanks, start thinner and gradually move to a wider shank to determine ideal size for optimal performance.
