6700 Ride-on Scraper
Product Description
The 6700 Ride-on scraper is the faster version of our 5700. Equipped with a larger hydraulic pump, this scraper runs up to 160 feet p/min. This speedy scraper is great for contractors removing soft goods on large jobsites and commercial spaces with large square footage.
For removing carpet in large areas, choosing the right blade is as important as the machine.
Consider the following factors:
- Carpet Type: Thick, plush carpets may require a self-scoring blade with extra tall 4″ wings, while lighter carpets can be handled with standard height blades.
- Adhesive Strength: If the carpet is glued down firmly, opt for a heavy-duty blade to cut through adhesive without getting bogged down.
- Project Size: For large commercial projects, investing a Ride-on scraper can save significant time. For smaller residential jobs, a walk-behind scraper with the right blade will get the job done.
- Subfloor Protection: Know your subfloor. Self-scoring blades come in both bevel up and bevel down varieties.
