The Angle Shank is designed to fit a range walk-behind scraper and effectively remove ceramic, wood, and thick epoxy. The carbide tip enables the shank to power through tough materials and allows for maximum resharpening.
*A 551-shank holder is required to attach the 552-shank to the 550 walk-behind scraper.
Angle Shanks: designed ceramic removal and thin-set re-scraping.
Straight Shank: designed for removal of hard goods, thick epoxy, and elastomeric.
Wood Shanks: designed for removal of hardwood floors.
Carbide tip: Carbide-tipped tools maintain their cutting edge with regular use and maintenance. They have exceptional wear resistance, which can increase their usable lifetime significantly.
*Tip – When using shanks, start thinner and gradually move to a wider shank to determine ideal size for optimal performance.
